TDK-EPCOS Low-Voltage Capacitor Bank - Product Features

1. Allowable overcurrent can reach 160% of the rated current.
2. Allowable short-time surge current can reach 500 times the rated current.
3. Capable of withstanding fault currents up to 10kA.
4. The internal components of the capacitor must be filled with inert gas (N2) or environmentally friendly soft resin insulation to prevent explosions and fires. The enclosure is made of aluminum alloy and includes a mechanism to disconnect the three-phase power supply when internal pressure becomes excessively high, ensuring safe operation and providing explosion-proof and fireproof protection for the capacitor. Faulty capacitors can be identified visually without instruments, enhancing maintenance safety and facilitating convenient replacement.
5. Designed for a service life of up to 180,000 hours under -40/D CLASS conditions.
6. Certified with cUL approval.
7. For rapidly changing loads, a static thyristor switch is available for optional integration.
